I am Silvia, an Italian illustrator and graphic
designer working from Switzerland.
I draw, paint, build, break, collage, make and create since the day I could hold a pencil! I always knew I couldn't give up using my imagination every day and took the steps necessary to be in a creative career. I have an entrepreneurial spirit, but I'm not afraid to be a dreamer and a bit of a 'Peter Pan'.
In my college years I was awarded a BS in Public Relations and Corporate Communication from Università IULM in Milano, followed by a BFA in Illustration at Parsons The New School in New York and other creative certifications from Central Saint Martins and Istituto Europeo del Design. Thanks to this Communication + Art combo I have often worked with clients who needed a designer able to understand branding and marketing strategies without compromising on creativity and beautiful aesthetics.
My work is a combination of techniques, ranging from printmaking, watercolour, photo-collage, color pencil, digital illustration or pen and ink. As well as 3D, Bookmaking, and Animation. Always looking for a new printing method, paper or style to experiment with has given me a broad understanding of what is available out there for my clients! Currently I focus on custom made products (handmade, printed and digital) for businesses and events, website design, and a few illustration side-projects.
