Marcos & Adam

This stunning event was made possible thanks to the collaboration of many creative minds and much passionate work. In the beautiful photos below, captured by Fabrice Bouverat, you can see many of my creations: from backdrops to all the elements of an invitation suite. Everything was pulled together wonderfully by Mery's Weddings. Enjoy!

Love is Love, and a Wedding is Love. • F.B.

Above, an over 2m wide and 3,5m long multicolor ribbon backdrop. Entirely hand-sewn and put together one ribbon at a time, after a careful study of the venue's tonalities. Each ribbon color was hand-picked and arranged to create a delicate but colorful curtain behind the altar.

Above, the ceremony was held on the lawn around the venue. To respect the space, instead of paper confetti we used bird feed: an eco-friendly alternative that also romantically attracted little local birds post-ceremony. The programs displayed the couple's monogram and ribbons matching the backdrop.

Above, the wedding suite. Modern yet romantic, it is inspired by the venue's colors and themes: the olive trees and backdrop's ribbons. Displaying here you can see: Save the date card that also functions as envelope, closed with a custom sticker; Invitations with the monogram in the back and details in the front, matched with a custom printed envelope and return address sticker; RSVP cards with their return envelope adorned by a custom liner; ceremony programs that recall the monogram from the invitations; and last but not least, the map to the venue, illustrated graphically in the front and written out playing with type in the back.

Above, the reception. The couple's table was richly decorated with flower arrangements and a rustic but elegant mise-en-place. My contribution was in the wooden letters and menus. Letters can be custom-created to any font, color and size. The menus maintained the color scheme and font of the wedding suite, but were extra-playful thanks to little illustrations of the ingredients intertwined to the words.

Above, the Photo Booth. During cocktail hour and after the reception, guests can take photos in this special corner designed just for that. Amongst the props, I took care of the calligraphy on the blackboards and custom-created the canvas backdrop. Sewn to measure and hand-painted, it recites "So is love: to meet by chance and to keep each other by choice"

Above, the Wedding Cake. We see more and more the trend of creating special corners for displaying the cake and taking beautiful photos of the couple cutting it. In this case, we inspired ourselves to the initial part of the party: the ceremony. You can see elements from the first backdrop and a rustic wooden table creating a fil-rouge together with the choice of flowers cascading from the side of the cake.
